Preface Hot Pressure Toast is a memory of my school days. My father used to prepare most of the breakfasts, and for a while he was obsessed with the hot press, and almost every day it was hot pressed toast. He would press whatever was in the refrigerator, most commonly chocolate sauce and berry jam. I even suspected at the time that this was his way of being lazy.
